Football Match Status Explained: Scheduled, Live, Updating and Full Time
A score makes sense only with its match status. PITCHNIVO uses the latest available fixture data to show where a game stands, while making delays visible when the feed is still catching up.
Scheduled: check the time again
A scheduled fixture has not kicked off. Read its date and kick-off time in West Africa Time (WAT), then check the listing again closer to the match. A fixture can move, and an old screenshot may no longer show the current time.
Live and Updating are different signals
A live label means the latest feed update says the match is in progress. If fresh data is delayed, PITCHNIVO may show Updating instead of keeping an old live score on screen. Updating does not tell you that the score has changed; it tells you to wait for a newer update before relying on the number.
Treat full time as a confirmed result
A full-time score belongs to a finished match. If the match still appears live or is updating, avoid reading the displayed score as the final result. Open the match page for its latest status and check again if the provider has not yet confirmed the finish.
